A book was written in our Hindu religion: which we know as Hindu Granth and our sages were the ones who wrote it and each and everything written in, it is considered very clever and creative. “KAAK CHESTA BAKO DHYANAM, SHWAWNA NIDRA TATHAIVA CHA ||

ALP-HARI GREHTYAGI, VIDYARTHI PANCHA LAKSHMAN" ||

1. In Sanskirt KAAK means CROW and CHESTA means EFFORTS, A student’s efforts should be like a crow, who dropped pebbles into a pitcher, In which the water was very low and due to the continuous pouring of pebbles, the water came to the top. If he didn’t make every effort, he would have remained thirsty. Similarly a student should also make endless efforts to achieve his goals.

2. In sanskirt BAKO means HERON and DHYANAM means FOCUS, The attention of a student should be like that of a heron, which stands for hours in the water meditating to gather its food. He does not deviate from his goal until he catches a fish for himself.

3. In Sanskrit SHWAWNA means DOG and NIDARA mean SLEEP, A student’s sleep should be like that of a dog. Which wakes up even with the slightest sound that a student should always be alert. He should never be lazy so that he does everything at the right time.

4. In sanskirt ALP means little and HARI means food, A student should have a little be frugal so that his mind is not filled with unnecessary knowledge, This is being said in relation to the behavior of these senses.

5. In sanskirt GREHTAYAGI means A student needs education while staying away from his home, which means away from the happiness, comfort, and love of his home. Like in ancient times all the going in GURU KOOL to get an education in India.

“If you are a student and you have all these qualities and you are learning with these 5 qualities then you can learn everything you want to learn”.
